Readiness requirements call for letters from at least two Utah-based artist cooperatives confirming venue access and a plan to train local volunteers in basic cataloging. Proposals must identify existing display cases within Utah museums rather than request new construction.
Implementation centers on creating exhibition labels that record fiber sources from Utah sheep and plant dyes grown in the state's climate zones. Projects track attendance by zip code to demonstrate reach beyond the Wasatch Front.
Grants reimburse costs for pH-neutral mounts and local printing of catalogs, provided the final exhibition occurs inside Utah.
